HI there, is It possible for one single dwarf puffer live healthy in a 3 gallon tank?

The minimum for 1 puffer is 5 gallon because of how incredibly messy eater they are and because they need very stable water perameters and that’s very hard in small aquariums.

But if I keep monitorating the water parameters frequently It will be ok?

What happens is they eat only like a third of whatever food you put in and you would have to immendiatly remove the food. It’s possible but even I wouldn’t attempt it because a 3 gallon is very very prone to water fluctuations. I honestly don’t recommend it because they would also get bored and their is not a lot of room for things to keep him amused.

Its better to get fish that will fit the tank. As much as it can be hard to practice self discipline when we get soooo excited for fish our ultimate goal is to keep the fish healthy and happy.
Not to mention why waste time and money for something and risk unhappy and possibly dead fish in the end?
