Dwarf Pencilfish Dilemma

My local club is doing a group online buy, meaning I could get a pretty good deal on some Pencilfish I have been eyeing without having to pay shipping. The thing is, the fish arrive 3 days before I am supposed to leave for a 2.5 week long vacation. Should I risk it? Do I ask if somebody can hold them for me?

Can a buddy babysit them for you? Otherwise, you may save on shipping only to pay in dead fish if you hurry them into your tank and there's an issue.

Tough call.

I just figured out I got the dates wrong. I actually have a week between the two, so I'm going to go for it.
