Was thinking of getting a Dwarf Mexican Crayfish cause they look really neat.. would they do well with a group of panda corys ?

I have them together with no issues. Dwarf Mexican crayfish are very peaceful

My dwarf Mexican crayfish was bad tempered, for what it's worth... It would snip at the tails of my salt & pepper corys, which are half the size of panda corys for reference. It also killed my cherry shrimp :/

I've heard no shrimp with them, just wasn't sure about bottom dwellers.

I had one years ago, it caught and ate a guppy alive. Wasn't super fun for little me to discover. Could depend on the individual.

    No, not a good idea.
The crayfish is a bottom feeder predator and Cory fish live at the bottom.
Crayfish are nocturnal and will harass your corys all night.
Eventually he'll be able to snag one of them.
Regardless of what other people tell you, the crayfish will take the opportunity of the very tame and unsuspecting bottom dwelling fish to quickly close his claws when a fish tail gets near. Then he'll jump on it like a fly on horse**!* and dig into the flesh with his other 8 legs.

He will then position the fish to where the head goes into the mouth and rip the fish's face apart.

    I am speaking from experience.
