Dwarf hairgrass help?!

Planted dwarf hairgrass a month ago give or take. Not much growth outwards but more upwards. Ammonia nitrite nitrate phosphorous and PH are in check. I have hard water about 150ppm gh and 200ppm kh. The water is high in calcium. I dose it with liquid fert and the hairgrass is planted in quality substrate. Tank is co2 injected during the day and run a finnex planted tank cliplight. More than enough light for a 5.5 gal tank. Any help or suggestions?

If it's growing up and not out, you don't have enough light. It also needs something a bit stronger than a liquid fert. Dry ferts, high light, and pressurized CO2 will get a carpet.

What are you using to inject CO2? What kind of substrate?

BDpups has prior experience with this I think.

You have a good substrate for DHG.

But the Kelvin temp is not what determines how powerful your light is. It is just the color spectrum of the bulb. You need to know the PAR rating for the light since it's a LED. I look around a bit and can't find it. Do you have the box, or anyway of knowing the PAR rating?

I'm not at all familiar with the Fluval CO2 kits. Do you have a drop checker? Do you know if you have 30ppm of CO2 in the tank?

I can get the PAR in a minute. The CO2 is rated for a 15 gal tank. No drop checker.
