One of my two DG didn't come to the top of the tank for breakfast today which is very unlike him.
Upon closer inspection he is about twice the size in the gut area.
I thought he looked kinda bloated the other day but it was hard to tell.
    Today it is obvious.
I suspect DGIV in him and have put him in a makeshift hospital tank.

Unfortunately, I have another DG that was in the same tank.
From what I am reading it sounds like there is a huge chance that #2 will also develop symptoms and pass. I think he might already look like #1 did the other day... or maybe I'm having a glass half empty kind of day.

    This sucks.

I still have other fish in the tank.
Is there something I can do to treat the tank to prevent DGIV in case I get another DG in the future?
Or do I need to tear the whole thing down and bleach the fudge out of everything?

I have to tear it all down and go bleach crazy ... I guess this means I get to start the cycle all over?

    This really, really sucks.

Best prevention : Don't buy another DG.
They probably catch the virus before they arrive in your tank (in Asia).
It isn't contagious for other fish.
