Today I counted 4 baby fishes. I have three male platies and a pair of dwarf gouramies so it's obvious that these fishes are also dwarf gouramies.
But I thought dearf gouramies laid a bubble nest under a fliating plant? I don't have floating plants and I never saw a bubble nest.
Anyway my tank is well stocked and I don't want anymore fish in there so I was hoping that my platies or the parents would eat the fry in a sort of humane/natural way.
So my auestions are:
Can dwarf gouramies reproduce without floating plants and bubble nests?
What can I do in the future to get my gouramies to not mate again?
Will my platies or the dwarf gouramies themselves eat the young?
thanks
