Dwarf Baby Tears Struggling

I set up a new tank about a month ago and added some Dwarf Baby Tears about 2 weeks ago and ever since I planted them they've slowly deteriorated turning yellow and dying off. I was told by the guy at my LFS that this can happen when you buy plants that were grown emersed but they looked immaculate when I purchased them and they were submerged in a tank. I was wondering if anyone could help diagnose the issue. In the past, I've had great success with Dwarf Hairgrass and Baby Tears but this time around I'm really struggling. I also had some Rotala Bonsai instantly melt away into nothing when I first added it and about 10% of it survived. The rest of the plants seem to be doing pretty well and are growing fast.
Tank Parameters/ Light Setup
Finnex Planted Plus 24/7 36 Inch 35W
Fluval Aquasky 48-60 Inch 35W
50 Gallon tank (about 40 Gallons of water)
CO2 3 BPS
Water PH 6.5-7
Water Temp 80 Degrees Fahrenheit
50% eco-complete planted substrate/ 50% Seachem Flourite planted Substrate
Dosing with Seachem Potassium, Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Iron liquid fertilizer
0ppm Ammonia
0ppm Nitrite
20ppm Nitrate

Dont quote me, but It could be the plants absorbing all the Nitrate, maybe a water change to help lower the Nitrate. Id wait for the others, but Id think that once your Nitrate is gone, they will begin growing.

I had done a water change yesterday and after testing the water again right now with the API liquid test kit my nitrates are actually 5ppm. I don't think that is the issue, to be honest.

HC can be tough. I'd say, in order of importance, competition with fast growers, incorrect iron for your PH, insuffient light, insuffient water flow, and perhaps insufficient cupper. I'd also spread out the HC a little bit more.
