Look into polishing pads. Tiny particles aren't trapped by standard mechanical media.

Greetings and welcome to the forum

I would look into what this could be and not just try to filter it out. Since it is something that just showed up in an established tank there must be a cause. Look at the gravel, decorations and the internal components of the filter. See if any of that is disintegrating. There have many occurrences of products from China doing this. If it is not that there may be a colony of bacteria/fungus somewhere that has gotten large enough that it is now floating around in the water. Look in the filter system, especially in the tubes and on the walls. Look under decorations and in caves and on the surface of wood.

Something is not right in this aquarium and it needs to be found.

That's a little much.

The simplest answer is usually the right one.

I recently figured out that my tank has what I am calling MICRO BUBBLES. If I turn my bubbler off, they go away. They show up much better with the lights on. The interesting thing is that these micro bubbles DO NOT RUSH TO THE SURFACE. Instead they just kinda float around with the current and eventually make it to the top. I have a wood block bubbler which creates really small bubbles. When these small bubbles collide into my decorations, they break up into even smaller bubbles (micro)

Is this possibly what you are experiencing? Can you turn some air off to check?

Or is it possible that the water from your filter is splashing into the tank causing micro bubbles?

Ok, and what would that answer be? There should be no interest in what caused this in an established aquarium?

I have had this problem in an established aquarium and in my new aquarium when I turn everything off(anything that aggitates the water)it all floats to the surface pretty quickly how can I remove it? and more so how does it get there like I said it is white dust particles. The tank is closed so it can't be getting in that way.

Along with what I posted above, you could look into the water its self. If the TDS (total dissolved solids) are very high in your water they may be coming out of suspension.

How long after you setup a new tank does this show up?

If you turn off everything and they float to the surface it sounds like micro bubbles. After they float up can you see them on the top of the water?
