#3, what are they going to do to the dog if it does this? lol

Lol personally I like #1. There is supposedly a dumb law in Montana where a group of Indians is considered a raiding party and you are allowed to shoot them on sight...

I was wondering what would happen if number six was done.......?
  6. Anders247Fishlore LegendMember

Yeah, not sure why that's considered a dumb law.... makes perfect sense.
    Lol, me too.

    How about in wisconsin?

    - in public restraunts, apple pie must always be served with cheese.

    - waving a burning torch in the air is a class A misdemeanor.

    - livestock has the right of way on public roads.

The last two make sense to me

I dont know most of these make sens to me actually when the reason is given, except for the individual city ones. Do women even have "house coats" any more?
  9. Anders247Fishlore LegendMember

The last one on the link shared makes no sense, lol.

I suspect it would if you were towing a car.
  11. Anders247Fishlore LegendMember

I'm not sure that would count as a driverless car, since it's being towed by someone.....and it would be hard to go fast while towing a car, lol.

    Just a guess.
i think if it was loaded on the back of a truck it might als be considered driverless.

I think the ones for Carmel (California) were funny, the last one I'd have a hard time with though lol!

We should just change this thread to "Dumb Laws in the US" so we cover all the states!

In china its illegal to buy or sell 2nd hand bicycles.

Or how about Australia heroin is illegal but there are injection rooms for people to do drugs in certain cities and theres tqlk to qdd smoking rooms for people to smoke crystal meth also illegal

Injection rooms sound bizarre, however the benefits of a safe environment in which people can inject, gain access to clean needles and direct medical treatment if required is a better, smarter, healthier and more fiscally sound health policy than allowing people to overdose in city streets, have used needles lying on the ground and ambulances and ERs full of people who have od'd or off their face

I've read some outrageous laws before, but I'd say at least half of those on that site wouldn't make the cut. A lot of those actually make sense. Personally, I'd like to see a law against spitting here. Where I grew up nobody spit in public. Now here I see it in public all the time, from anyone, anywhere. It's disgusting!

Oklahoma has some pretty stupid laws too, some of them don't even make sense.
