One option is both intakes on one side, and both returned on the other. Net flow across tank.

Other option is to split them, both in or out in center, and other on outsides.

    Looking for suggestions.

Tank has 1 young Oscar, and 5 young silver dollars.

How difficult would it be to rearrange this once it's in place? If you could trial out different options to see what suits without major upheaval that would be great! I suppose you could always add a powerhead if you do end up with so dead spot

I have 3 canisters on the 150. The output pointing to the same end. This creates a circular current to help limit dead spots.

Then in principle that should also work for the 125
