Dry-scaping at 99% humidity

I read that starting Monte Carlo in a dry-scape requires 90% humidity. My hygrometer reads 99% all the time except when I air the tank out and it drops to about 45% temporarily for 20-30 min a day. Is this extra 10% going to cause problems? Thanks much

That extra 10% will likely be helpful. It gets it even closer to the conditions it would experience underwater. I think that when you read that, it likely meant that you shouldn't let it drop below 90% for very long.
