My first fish, the red veiltail betta I brought home a few months back, died today. He had dropsy which I only noticed yesterday. I changed out his water immediately but came home today from work and he was gone. I'm about to take him out of the tank now and give my remaining betta, the pastel delta tail, the whole 10 gallon tank.

I've been gone for a few weeks. My finals period was unprecedented in duration this past semester. My first assignment was due at the end of April and my last one was turned in on May 21. I didn't sleep a lot, lost some weight, and didn't have much time on the forums (or much else in the way of internet distractions) as exams went on. But anyway, I think things have stabilized now that I'm in my summer job -- which I started even before my last paper was due.

RIP Gamma.
