Hello everyone!
I put a largish piece of driftwood in a bucket and left it almost fully submerged. I put it there on the 6th of July and it still is not sinking. On the 6th I also placed a large rock that held the driftwood submerged. Please help as I really need it soon!

After a year it will stay down until then use fishing line and tie it to a rock

It could take a few weeks or months. You can also glue it to a piece of slate.

Not necessarily a year. Depends on wood size, density, etc.
