Driftwood And My Bristlenose Albino Pleco

...just want y’all to know I am boiling driftwood right now for my albino bristlenose pleco...

I got him or her on a whim... had not even planned on having one - we drive down to wet spot tropical last Sunday and I stocked my tank - an was gonna get corys - looked. At em all and basically the gal there breeds plecos and she said you should get this bristlenose pleco it was an albino and rather small and I thought what the hey...

I’ve really become attached to this one !!!

So I’m reading all your posts I gotta get the wood out! Doing that now... my temps were st about 82ish I am gonna lower that at a tad to his top range of 80 - as I have electric blue rams who love the heat...

Anything else I need to know? Cucumber ? Should I par-boil it?

I gave my bristlenoses blanched zucchinI and green beans.

What kind of drift wood? Malayan drift wood is what would be best for your pleco.

It’s driftwood from our beach area that has been in the sun and rain for about 5 years
