Drift Wood And Guppy Question

If guppies need higher ph and driftwood lowers ph does that mean I shouldn't use driftwood in guppy tank? I just set up a 35 gallon tall tank and was going to put a bunch of guppies in it but I realized my ph was staying around 6.5 due to the large piece of driftwood. I believe guppies need around 7.5 if I'm not mistaken. What should I do?

I can get away with driftwood in my tank 'cause my tap water is hard. You could collect some seashells and boil them, or add a bag of crushed coral or live rock.

I took the driftwood out and completely rescaped the tank. That was hard to do too because it was almost cycled after three weeks.
