Good Afternoon Everyone,

I'm resetting my 6 gallon fluval edge, and going to cycle it using Dr. TI'm One and Only.

I'm curious, on their site it states to use their water conditioner...Does that really matter? Or Can I use any type of water conditioner to remove chlorine? For Example API Tap Water Conditioner

Welcome to Fishlore
Any make of dechlorinator is fine, I'd think the majority of people here use Prime

Thanks for the reply and the great welcome!

They stated don't use prime since it gets rid of the ammonia ( I know it doesn't, but this is directly from the Dr. TI'm people)

You can use Prime, wait 24 hours, and then add the bacteria.
