Banjo Catfish do not eat algae. They eat catfish sinking pellets or freeze dried foods. There are some odd and interesting characteristics of the Banjo Catfish. It's preferred, if you get one, to have two to three or more, as they school or shoal at night time with others alike.

You're welcome. I'd actually like to have a Banjo Catfish. They're very different and unique.

One of the best algae eaters are the Bristle Nose Plecos. I have a few of those and they are wonderful fishes. They only reach about 4", maybe 5" maximum. :)
