Question: what species and how many (if any) could fit in a 0.7 gallon? I wasn't sure if there was a species small enough for a tank that tiny or not.DoubleDutch said:
First tank is my Corydoras napoensis tank.
By coincidence it appears to resemblance their natural habitat hahah.
In my opinion even the micro tiny "nano" ones should be kept in bigger tanks.Canaculus said:Thanks. That's what I thought. I was just making sure that there wasn't some micro tiny species that could.
Absolutely agree. According to the "1inch per gallon rule" a 10 inch oscar is fine in a 10 gallon tank. You really got to look at many factors. Size, activity, bioload, and many others.DoubleDutch said:In my opinion even the micro tiny "nano" ones should be kept in bigger tanks.
The size of the fish shouldn't be leading in the choice of the tanksize.
