Dosing Kanaplex in planted tank

I am planning on treating a tank for fin rot with kanaplex, but am hearing mixed results on whether or not it can be safely used with plants and snails. So I want to know if I treat with half a dose on a 7 gallon tank will my plants and snails be fine? Has anyone had any experience with this?
Thanks

I dosed my planted tank that had an ich/columnaris outbreak with kanaplex and ich cure and a fizzy fungal cure tablet (everything went wrong all at once for me so I was trying every med I could think of) and everything was fine. I still have the 3 nerites that were in there and my plants had no issue. You should be okay.

There's a strong possibility that dosing Kanaplex into the tank will put a big dent in the benificial bacteria population, resulting in a mini parameter spike.

Thanks, will watch the parameters.
