Please use this topic to post your Dojo Loach photos. I'll leave it stickied so it appears at the top of the posts.

-----

Please use your own photos, and not material from the internet.

Please post your photos as attachments, rather than links.

While your compliments on the photos are really appreciated, text-only posts will be removed after a while to keep the gallery pictures-only. If there is a discussion you do not want to loose, please start it again in a separate thread.

Thanks,
Armadillo

Loaches really will flop on anything and rest in the weirdest positions.

Side view. Looks like they are enjoying the new driftwood pieces they got recently

This is Sashimi, my first dojo loach! I am in love with him! So curious, so funny to watch and a real attention seeker! Swam up into my hand the other day whilst adjusting the decorations in the tank!

As curious and energetic as he is, he is one lazy loach! Snooze the day away in a hammock of leaves or half buried under the gravel!

Definitely want more, super fish to keep, great fun to watch!

Current video of Yetti, my 10 inch Albino Golden Dojo loach. He is seen in the beginning huffing and puffing as he usually does after vacuuming up the food after a feeding.......

I love the little fattie puffs they make, like they ate SO MUCH its tough to breath! they do like to hoover up the food!

My dojo’s. They are so funny. I love just watching them swim and play together. They really do forecast the weather too.

More pictures of my dojo’s. I just love these guys. Wish I had known how much fun they were. I’d love to have a tank with just dojo’s.

Picked up three at the LFS a couple weeks ago. Had requested a mix of male and female as they were going into a pond. Never actually verified that I got a mix and you know how loaches can be lol Finally saw two near the surface together and verified a male and a female (I think we have two females). With that info I figured it’s time they got names.

Of course, only the male wanted to be photographed. So, here’s Dr Zoidberg and hopefully his mate, Edna.

I think we’ll add one more loach, only this time a golden. That will be Hugh Man
