Dojo Loach Jumped Out of Tank

ok so I’m panicking a little bit, I was just sitting here watching tv and my dojo loach jumped out of the water and landed on my carpet. I obviously put him back in immediately but he was covered in cat fur and dust. Is there anything I can do to help him and/or make sure he doesn’t get sick or die?

I obviously put him back in immediately but he was covered in cat fur and dust. Is there anything I can do to help him and/or make sure he doesn’t get sick or die?

Just give him time and space and let him recover by himself. So long as your water parameters are great, he should be able to shake it off and be fine.
