Dog with Cancer/Brain Tumor/Death

I just euthanized my dog. I found out that she had cancer, a possible bladder stone, and a brain tumor. Plus, possibly dementia. Saddest thing. So great that she was sedated first. Always ask for that, and never leave your pet alone.

My dog has bone cancer hope I have few more years with him he is 10

With our dog, I guess I was somewhat in denial at first but now it's really hitting me..... It's very hard to cope with so I'm trying to keep my mind off her so I don't go cry for the next 3 hours and get a bad headache.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I had to put my dog down 2 years ago due to cancer also. He had cancer in his bladder and liver, and he had kidney failure and diabetes. Its such a hard thing to put your beloved companion down after them being with them for so long but at the end of the day it was for the best. I stayed with my dog through the entire process so I know how you feel. You have my support 100%

 

Very sorry for your loss. It's so hard to loose a pet, they are members of your family. I am glad you were able to stay with him. I also have always stayed with them as it is the last thing you can do for them. Alison

Just read this now so I'm kind of late, but I'm so sorry for your loss The nice woman who put my dog down was telling me how coming home from anywhere would be a slap in the face because we were now a dog-less household It's very true.

Yep its quiet here and I miss him its not the same at all but his ashes are coming soon and they will be incmy cabinet in my room I got flowers and two candles to decorate it
