Here are each of my dogs with my daughter. One is from a few years ago. The first pic is Jake. The second pic is Hagan. As you can tell, they're not too good with children

This is an old photo that I love! Nooka the Golden Retriever is on the left, and is almost 5 years old now. Gypsy (R.I.P) is on the right, and was a Labrador Retriever who was almost 11 years of age. A good long life
Reminds me of the Yin & Yang philosophy lol, although they're both females ;D

This is Cash, my insane 3-year-old aussie/st bernard mix.

Keep in mind, this is a dog who absolutely hates water and will jump over a puddle rather than walk through it...this is also a dog who is a serious velcro dog and is glued to my side 24/7.

He loves snow though!

Thanks to everyone for sharing pictures of your doggies! They're all SO adorable. I can't wait until we have a house with a fence so we can have our own pups!

These are the only pics I have on this computer of my mom's dogs. She has 5 adorable rescue puppies!

Here are pictures of Cindy. She's a lhasa apso & dachshund mix. She's deaf since birth. She has the most laid back personality ever. We say she's more like a big stuffed kitty.

I hope I'm posting this in the right place.

This is Nakai. He came to us in September 2005 as an 8 month old. A friend of mine found him wandering the streets but couldn't keep him. Her other 3 dogs wouldn't let him in the pack. Yeah, he's a velcro dog!

Yes she does, that one loves being outside, doesn't matter to her if it is -30 out there she will stay outside with you as long as you will let her.

We got her from a family who couldn't keep her anymore when she was just about 1yr old, and have had her for 2 yrs now. Since day one when we got her, I don't know why but she is very protective of girls. When we first got her if I picked up my daughter, hugged her, or tickled her etc she would come up barking and would "bite" my hand to get it away from Emma. She would do the same to me if I got near my wife. Shes not an aggressive dog at all, my daughter lays on her tugs her around the house, she follows her everywhere. Only if I get near the girls. My son, I could pick him up and throw him around the room and she won't even look at us twice. The dog is now to the point she isn't grabbing me anymore but when me and Emma rough house she will come up and sit right next to us to keep an eye on things, every now and then giving me a growl or two. Even reading books at night if I lay in Emmas bed with her the dog will come and either lay at the end of the bed or the floor until I leave the room then she will come out of the room too. But like I said only with the girls does she have a problem, my son and me could wrestle around right in front of her and she could care less.

Brian
My first poodle was the same way with my father. We adopted him from a family and he had some issues with the man of that house.

My Weim/Lab/Shepherd, Tesla along with one of my parents' havanese, Mojo. They are two weeks apart in age, so they grew up together.

The attached picture with the brown dog is Ratchet, my rescued Heeler/Corgi/Border cross. He is the dog I compete in agility with and is a bit odd since he loves teeters and for the longest time, disliked tunnels.

Also attached are my parents' other two havanese, Candy and Moxi. Candy (the one lying down) is a retired show dog and, IIRC, she was the top female Havanese in Canada for awhile.

MoxI (the white fluff ball sitting up) is Candy's granddaughter - though you can only really tell it by looks. She's not very lady-like or prim.

Best friends are for pillows, don'tcha think?

Licorice (the pillow) is from our local Humane Society. And Haley was from an accidental litter a few hours away from us. She was the last female and the lady cried when we took her home. I feel so bad!!! T.T

290.jpg

And this is Dweezle. Betcha can't guess his breeds? ;D He was also from and accidental litter (why are you keeping two unfixed dogs if you don't want puppies!!??), and all the pups were going to be put down the day after we got him o.o

just thought id share a few of my pics love all the other pics of peoples dogs! Also love how a lot of you get them from shelters lucky doggies!

the white 1 is marley moo staffidshire bull terrier 6 months old (looks abit like a baby cow) lol hence the name.

the grey one is my blue staffordshire bull terrier bruiser hes just over 1 year old.

and the brindle staffordshire bull terrier is ruby she now looks completley black except for if u push her fur bk then shes still brindle shes about 8 months old now I hate how staffordshire bull terriers are so underestimated and are made out as aggressive and horrible dogs you can not trust as this is not true all mine are so friendly love them to bits.

This is my Willow :3 she's a three year old CorgI Mix, she's basically built just like a CorgI but has a short tail and is a black sable, which they do not come in. Her legs are also a tad longer and her nose is shorter, but you can only tell that when you compare her directly to a full blooded Corgi

I love watching agility trials! At one of our local dog parks, they have the agility stuff set up so you can play with your dogs on it, if you wish. So far, mine are all epic failures. But they're adorable, so I keep them anyway.

These are some of my rescue dogs, all adopted from shelters or abusive home situations.
