Does This Look Like Ich ?

I've had ich twice in the past.

I got this fish about a week ago, a day after it was in the tank I noticed a white speck on it's fin.

I've been heat treating the tank for about a week. No other fish seem to have it.
Does this look like ich to you too ??
Thank you for your replies.

I would say yes but I M unfamiliar with the species and therefore it's color expressions so take my verdict with a grain of salt

Thank you.

It's a gold ram.
I really didn't notice all the nerite eggs scattered about.
Try not to let those throw you off.

I've been heat treating for 2 weeks it's still there. Maybe it's a cyst ?

Yes one white spot on the fin.
pH 7.4 - ammonia 0 nit 0 nitrates 0 ( yes it is cycled)

I've been heat treating-
88 degrees for two weeks and water changes. I use salt but very little maybe half a teaspoon for 55 gals.

Thank you for the reply.

1st I don't think a cycled tank should have 0 nitrates
2nd increasing the temp is one but that might be a little amount of salt for that big of a tank. I'm no expert with this method so I'll just leave a link below on a topic I found about it

Salt for ich treatment

if you have other fish that might not tolerate salt treatment I suggest moving the sick fish in a QT tank and treat it there.

Still unclear or hard to see on pic.

I've treated ICH before with ICH-X but I don't do it on the whole tank I QT the sick fish and 2-3 days later it's gone

also going back to Nitrates being 0 I don't think your cycled unless you got that after a huge WC

I'm considering a salt dip for her, not sure yet.

It is cycled.
Been up and running since 2013, plants and good maintenance habits do allot together.
