Does tap water harm plant?

    i need to change sponge in my filter and do some water change,but i realized i almost run out of chlorine neutralizer..will it harm my plants in any way?

    Chlorine won't hurt your plants, but any fish, shrimp or snails will suffer. If it is only chlorine your water is treated with then you can draw the water and hold it for 24 hours. The chlorine will outgas and then the water will be safe to use.


    If they use chloramines is purify your water supply, you MUST use a chemical neutralizer to make it aquarium safe.

    my country dont use chloramine in tap water,so i will assume it safe? its plant only fauna stock at all

    You're trying to cycle the tank. The bacteria you want to multiply are livestock. Tiny livestock. So put your water in a pail and do your change tomorrow.

    if i dose chroline neutralizer,how long should i leave the water? or just pour it in the tank?

    Neutalizers work instantly. Just add it and carry on.
