Does My Half Moon Have Clamped Fins???? Plz Help!

Hi! So I’m very new to having a fish and I’ve been paranoid about my new betta because I don’t want to cause it harm. I got him yesterday. I have a 5 gallon tank with a heater and filter. The water is cycled and all levels are good. Ever since I got him I notice his uppermost fin looks clamped. Is that how his fin is or is it clamped?? When he swims or is angled a certain way his fin looks closer to his body however at times his fins look flared out. Please help me I don’t want to hurt him

 

His fins aren't clamped. That's just how they are.
