Does My Fish Look Like He Is Dying?

Okay so 4 days ago I got a betta fish at my local Dollar Store! (sounds a little sketchy). When I bought him I was given no information on gender, or age, or anything else. However I said I would give him a try. A few days have passed and I haven’t noticed any major problems, but I’m still a little worried for the little guy. I just keep on thinking “what f he’s sick?!” My family says I’m being paranoid. But I just want him to be happy.

 

I think he looks okay. How did you get him from a dollar store? I didn't know that they sold fish.

they usally dont, so I was surprised when I saw a ton of betta on a table

yes I do, I guess I just worry too much.

 

He's a bit tatty but will be fine. I have bettas in no tech tanks but they are planted and it's summer. Guppy grass seems like a cheap option that bettas would like but I haven't tried it myself I like floating plants. There's my betta on the right.
