My birthday is coming up, so I will have some extra money to spend on plants! I’ve included a picture of the tank(sorry for the bad quality). Does anyone know of any other plants that would look good with in this aquascape?

Probably any type of bucephalandra (Lol can’t tell if that one plant is buce or Anubias) maybe some sort of Rotala if you want to add some red in there :)

Thanks for the suggestions! Rotala is a very nice plant, and I will look into bucephelandra (yes that is anubias)
I’ve also been looking at pearlweed, it’s very beautiful. Also what’s your go to floating plant?

Go-to would be either Amazon frogbit or salvinia, but basically any floating plant you can find in a fish store is pretty good, I currently have duckweed (many People don’t like it as it grows really fast) but I’m looking out for some Amazon frogbit or salvania, I especially love Frogbits long roots as I’d like to use them to fill up the open space in my tank. Other floating plants include: parrots feather, red root floaters (which are reddish in color which could add a nice pop of color) and water lettuce/mini water lettuce :)

Personally I really have been enjoying red root floaters. They are easy to take care of and you can even get the whole plant to turn red if you have the right nutrients and lighting. If you’re looking for some carpeting plants I like Monte Carlo and have had success growing it with root tabs and no co2

Nice tank. If it were me, I'd consider adding some more epiphytes on your driftwood. Consider bucephalandras, other anubias, java ferns (maybe a cultivated variety like "trident" or something), and mosses (like java moss).

Do you have any tips for how to attach epiphytes to the wood?

Yes. You can stuff them in cracks and spaces. You can tie them with something; cotton thread is nice, because it just rots away in time (you don't have to take it back out). Superglue can work very well too (just try to dry off the spots where you plan to glue the plants first).

Superglue will turn white when in water, so be careful not to be messy with it. Otherwise, it works great.

Just went out and got the plants! I got a type of hygrophila, a tiger lotus, salvinia and bucephelandra silver grey which the guy at the LFS said was super rare.
