I was wondering if anyone had any kilifish cause I ve only ever seen them in books before and there is one that looks really cool I think its called Aphyyosemion gardneri.
Also some fish called Nothobranchius rachoviI which is not a kilifish but looks heaps cool I was wondering if anyone has had them before and how they are

J-Man, are you located in the U.K.? They have a big killie association there! Also, killies can be purchased as eggs and raised in your tank. It saves a bundle on shipping!

THE BRITISH KILLIFISH ASSOCIATION Usually they have a classifieds section, but that's probably in the members section. Here's the club in the U.S.

Re: Does anyone have Kilifish?

I just looked at this Aquarium store site, which is near where I live and they d stock them only at their warehouse so if I want them I'll have to get them to order some in, but first I'll do some further research on them. I'm not sure on that other fish though

You might also be able to get the eggs mailed to you from another continent. Check your local laws though. I heard Austrailia is really strict on what they allow in that is live.

Yeah they are don't want anything in here that could be harmful. It's apparently the strictest country, have to quarantine everything just about. Otherwise you can get fined $10 000 AUD.

Re: Does anyone have Kilifish?

I just had a search on the internet and found out that the second fish picture above is also a kilifish. Looks pretty good don't you reckon. There is only one place in the city that sells them but I'm not sure if they have them in stock as Ive never seen them before only on their website

hi
I bought 10 killifish eggs a few days ago for my daughter and the first one has just hatched, we are so excited. it's our first fry.
they are Aph.GardnerI Gold killifish & I bought them on ebay, £3.95 for 24 but we only found 20 in the peat, it was the most painstaking hour of my life looking for them (my friend kept half) but it was worth it.

Re: Does anyone have Kilifish?

Gosh, they are really beautiful. You will have to let us know if you get them.. And send pictures too. O get so envious of you all who have BIG tanks. It is so hard not to order more but my guys have all the company they want. I just may have to move out some furniture to make room for anothr tank. hmm ......
