Does anybody have any experience using api leaf zone?

Don't think you'd need if for those two. But I use it and I like it. My Anubias has grown substantially since I propagated it from my 15 gal. It's growing faster than the the parent plant.

Yeah I was told I wouldn't need it, but I thought it would make them grow faster, do you think that's true?

It will help. But excess nutrients will cause algae. You would need to find the perfect balance of light, nutrients, and co2

Agree with everything gchris87 has said and also really like API Leaf Zone
I started with 10ML once a week and added 5ML till I hit the recommend dose of 25ML once a week. Buy the big bottle from amazon because it can get expensive buying from Petsmart or any other place. you'll like it.

Sorry about that I have 55 gallon A ten would take 5ML. In your case it wouldn't be that expensive.
