Funny Does Anybody Else's Pleco Have A Weird Liking To The Air Stone?

So I recently put a airstone into my aquarium which one of my baby Plecos is obsessed with! He(or she) used to hide under some driftwood constantly only coming out on occasion to have a look around. Buy since putting the air brick in he(or she) hasn't left its side! Seems to love the bubbles running up it's back... Has anybody else experienced this or is my pleco just a bit strange...? I have 2 in the same aquarium I am yet to fully identify what they are but most people say they look like bulldog/ rubber lips to them. I'll post a picture of the pleco surfing the air stone when I get back to my aquarium later on.

They create places where their food grows well.

It has literally only been in a matter of days though would anything grow on it that fast?...

Here is a not so very good picture with my rubbish phone camera but you get the idea ..

I have a starlight BN that stayed in the bubble stream above a stone. After a week it quit. No idea why it started or stopped.

Well that was quite the chase. The mulm is stirred up, the logs are all moved, the cats are irked, I did get to see my tiny cactus again.
With all that I was able to take the worst starlight pic ever. Turns out there is a 2nd starlight in the pic (white stripe in the coconut opening).

The day after I got my tiny super red I saw his tail sticking out of the tube on my sponge filter. By the time I had unplugged the air pump and checked on him he was just sitting under the filter looking at me. Like he was saying "what's up mom, you spoiled all my fun" "not cool, not cool at all"

The next day I found him in there again. I just touched his tail and he zipped right back out. I have to think he was just enjoying all the bubbles. If I see him in there again I will just let him have his fun.

Haha I'm glad to hear I am not the only one with the strange Plecos then!

OK after everything settled down I got this pic. I tried for another and it swam away.

My Pleco was in the food queue when the fish intelligence was being handed out.......currently he is being turned on by hugging the filter (I guess he likes the throbbing massage effect from the internal impeller), if he isn't hugging the filter, he is bubble surfing the airstone or hanging upside down on the glass or plants or doing headstands in the sand or checking his own temperature by hanging off the thermometer

Personally I think he is watching the Cory's being total nutcases and trying to emulate them

I have a Gourami who's mega interested in the tube when I vac up the sand!
More than once I have had to stop the flow of water to releases a cory back out of the tube on my gravel vac. There is not enough suction power to pull them in. Occasionally one will just decide to swim up the tube. Little varmints are quicker than me

Elbert, that handsome fellow over there in my avatar scared the livin' daylights out of me when he first decided to take a snooze laying flat on his back. Now that I know it is one of his favorite resting positions it no longer concerns me.

In relation to my Percy loving to hug the filter....now I am not sure who is teaching who bad habits

Three of my Cory decided to try out the super duper massager (aka the filter) and promptly got themselves stuck tween said filter & the glass.....I had to go rescue them by sticking a finger behind them all and flicking them out as gently as I could......

The filter has now been moved further away from the glass....however, Percy & the Cory's (which sounds like a heavy metal band) are now having fun with the cables & airline from the airlight - which had been hidden by the filter

These fish are like toddlers....if they aren't getting themselves stuck somewhere & needing to be rescued, they are teaching each other bad habits...
