Does anybody else garden?....

My Roses have just out done themselves this year. here they tend to bloom really early but especially this year.

I've also been planting Herbs. This is just a few of them.

Just to sleep. The Oak pollen is so bad. We've had a few showers the last few days and it has helped.

Beautiful plants! My family does a garden each year. but we don't do much with flowers, just vegetables and then a couple flower pots. The only plants I have so far are chives...we haven't planted anything yet. It stays so cold up here. :-\ What are those banana mints like? I have my own separate herb garden as well as the big family one...

 

Beautiful roses and all the other plants. My mom does keep some flowers in our backyard and a number of live plants inside our house. My dad has a little grape section in our backyard too - he grows his own grapes which we then eat every summer. They're delicious.

 

0morrokh - The pineapple mint smells just like pineapple when its brushed against. the leaves when dried are good for tea, and salad seasonings among a few other things.
Isabella - I love grapes! It would be great having them so fresh.

I have some of that once but don't know. Anyways I have 3 gardens(really my moms but still mine was taken >)an herd and 2 vegie gardens and sone to be a water garden(pond)next year

 

My dad has a garden every year and rests it evey 7 years. We also grow blueberries and grapes. We also have a lot of houseplants and lots of flowers outside includeing a small flower garden. I'm just starting to get into plants, I have my own houseplant now and i'm hoping to make the open spot were we just ripped up a huge shrub into my own flower garden. My dad was a botany major so he know a fair amount about flowers and plants. We have a lot of trees and my dad really likes his grass so it's really green and nice looking.

 

What are those banana mints like?

good grief banana mint :  I really should go to bed earlier.   Of course the words "pineapple" and "banana" are so similar and easy to mix up. : ;D  I am really losing it.

 

I am a "flower nerd" all spring and summer. I started already with planting all the containers and getting my climbing plants ready to bloom. We had to replace all our cedar chip around the flowers this year so now when we have rain or water the whole neighborhood smells like fresh cut cedar or the inside of a good cedar chest. My lilac bush just finished blooming. Most of my garden pictures aren't out for this year yet as our growing season is way behind yours, Butterfly. I cannot believe you are using airconditioning already. I just about have myself talked into turning on the heat tonight. LOL

I love to garden but right now I am in an apartment and can only have things in pots One day I will get a digital cam and post some pics of my plants and tanks!

 

Does over a hundred varieties of daylilies count?
Most of my gardening is underwater.

Oh, I love daylilies! When we left our bigger house we had to leave our hybrids behind (part of the terms of the sale) and I do so miss them. (but I only had 65 - I cannot imagine having that many)

They must be beautiful!!
