Doctor Who

;D I'm bored, so was just wondering how many people here watch Doctor who?

I love it! I'm mad about it, BTW. I never miss an episode. If I'm out I record it and watch it when I get back. ;D I can't wait until the Sunday when it's repeated on BBC3. lol
My room is full of posters from Doctor Who, and my computer is flooded with pictures from every episode. ;D IMO, It's the best tv programme ever created. ;D
ATM, I'm working on watching all the old episodes from when it first started in 1963. The graphics aren't half as good, but still as exciting and fun to watch.
Yesterday's episode freaked me out a bit though. "Don't Blink, Don't Run, and Don't turn your back!" Scary! lol

We're on season 3 here in UK, but here from FLBettaCouple, that he's only just finished season 2. lol So I'll try not to spoil things for everyone if you haven't reached this season yet!

lol

who's the doctor you say?

that show is for nerds! so I love it! it's a great show with a unique style and a really high percentage of episodes that don't suck. it's hard to find shows that can be said of.

I wouldn't have to wait until after the summer to see season 3, if gwen would just buy a webcam and tv so that I could watch it over the net.. is that too much to ask, huh, huh?

:'( :'( now you made me cry again.

atm - it is definitely worth watching. SciFI channel runs the dr. who seasons in the fall here, after they've run in the UK so this fall we'll get to watch season 3 which mean Gwen is watching now. Lucky!

I do stuff. If I had cable I couldn't be on fishlore. I'm out running, playing paintball, varsity sport, friends, help my dad around the house. Keeps me busy and no need for cable.

lol.. well, the doctor is one of 5 TV shows that we watch.. plus sports. otherwise the tv pretty much sits there collecting dust. most of the time, the tanks are more entertaining to watch than whatever would be on tv.

lol.. I wish it was like jello in that you could pick your flavors.. we could take less than 10 channels and have EVERYTHING we want to watch.. but they have to throw in 300 channels we'd never watch so they can charge $100 a month or whatever.. lol.. I can buy a whole season of dr. who for a single month's cable tv bill.

That stinks.....I have to tell you - my wife's cousins weren't allowed to watch TV at all while growing up along with other over protections.....Unfortunately now in their mid-20's they are two of the most naive and immature young ladies I've ever met....IMO there is nothing wrong with TV during the week as long as the homework has been done and the household chores up to date or done......I'm not saying that this will be the case with you, I'm just giving you an example......Sometimes things done with the best intentions completely backfire in the long run.

Yup unfortunately there's no way around it, once in awhile I can get them to let me when I have all my homework done and no tests the next day. I know how those intetions go, seen some in kids around me, just have to feel bad for them. A book that is kinda like that is Thr3e

I'm a huge fan of old classic sci-fI and horror. And I absolutly LOVED the original Dr. Who. That and the original Twilight Zone were my favorites when I was a teenager. They used to run them on PBS up in NY. I didn't like the remakes much, too polished I think. But the originals were EXCELLANT! If I see them on DVD I will definitly add it to my collection.

yea, the old b&w twilight zones were great.. I could be wrong, but I think I saw them at best buy when we were in Denver.
