Do you need to take plants out of the rockwool? How long does the rockwool last?

I keep some plants like amazons in pots. Easiest to control how much they grow.

It's really up to you. If they are thriving then I would just leave them where they are.

If the plant that is in the pot propagates via runners, then it would be a good idea to take them out of the pot. Runners can have a hard time getting through the pot. But be sure to bury the pot into the substrate so that the roots that go through the pot can eat up the nutrients in the substrate.

I have a big hole where the roots can easily go through the substrate.
