I wanted to get some shrimp but do I need to qt them? If I didn’t what disease do they carry that could affect my tank? And what if my fish ate a shrimp that was sick?

Shrimp should be quarantined before adding them to other shrimp. To my knowledge, none of the shrimp diseases affect fish and vice versa. If you have no shrimp in your tank already, I see no reason to quarantine for disease control purposes.

I bought some today, and yeah I didn't QT them because they can't transfer diseases to your fish.

I bought 2 batches of blue velvet shrimp off ebay

I did not quarantine because they are so delicate & the shipping was stressful enough

I did not have any die off

2 deaths recently but I think that was molting issues.
