Do you know what alge this is?

I recently notice some green (kind of neon green color) alge on my rocks. It actually looks pretty nice, so I am not too worried about it. However, it seems to be spreading pretty fast.

Anyone here know what this alge could be? I started my tank just over a month ago now and had a huge diatom bloom a couple of weeks ago. That is now gone. Was expecting green hair alge, but none so far. Only this other green stuff. Hope it is not something I should worry about???

If it is encrusting over the rocks, it could be coralline algae. That stuff comes in quite a handful of colors ranging from reds to purples to green.

Thanks. Also did some searching online and found out that it properly is Coralline Alge as you say.

Some say it is an early stage and will after some time turn purple. I am hoping it stays green though. The color is really nice.
