Do You Know That One Fish?

I can officially say I have "that one fish" in my tank. You know... "that one fish" that likes to rearrange rocks? That one fish that tries to 'eat' the glass? That one fish that attacks plants? That one fish that's more feisty than the others? That one fish that thinks it's the hottest thing in the tank but really we just watch it like, "You're weird".
I fed the fish some live ghost shrimp today and all of them pick up the shrimp and carry it around and chew it slowly, then go to their area away from the others and eat their meals like normal fish...Then...
Can you guess what'll come next?
If you guessed "That one fish" comes around, you'd be correct. That one fish stuffed an entire ghost shrimp in it's mouth and inhaled the whole thing. Couldn't close it's mouth or do anything. Eventually it was able to throw up the food and break it down.

Everyone give a fin for THAT ONE FISH.

I was going to say it had to be a cichlid. I was leaning Oscar, but I'm not surprised. Cichlids have quite the personality. Its like trying to keep a puppy in a fish tank.

My betta, Roy, is that "one fish". He kissed up to me from his plain ten gallon for the past few months. I grew so attached to him -the little guy who would follow my finger- that I decided to upgrade his tank. Now, in a completely planted ten gallon (plants alone cost me $60) he ignores me. He completely ignores me. He got what he wanted, and now he no longer needs to display any interest in me. What a jerk.

I have a balloon molly that literally grabs a leaf of the very few plants I have and pulls at it like she is trying to move it.

He was actually pycho and I had to take him back to my LFS. I had him for months and months and slowly he went more and more crazy. I ended up getting 3 more female blue zebras. Now I got a female zebra group taking over the tank. My two Bumble Bee's don't know what to do with themselves any more. My one little Electric Yellow is all happy, it's name is Lemon and it too is "That one fish". She's very sneaky and always good for a laugh.
