The 'holding cell' has to be below the main aquarium. (usually on the floor) You place the tubing in the water of the main aquarium (all of it completely under water). Move it around a little to get the air out (you'll see it bubble out) leave 1 end in the main aquarium, plug off the other end with your thumb (while under water)place this end in the 'holding cell'. Gravity will drain the water down the tube into the 'holding cell' creating a siphon.clamp it to slow the flow (or tie it in a knot)

Use airline tubing (smaller the better)

Yes,it's just like doing a water change or vacuum, except you don't want any trash coming in with the water.

What type of fish are you acclimating ?
You take the fish and water out of the bag and put the fish and water in a clean bucket or similar container big enough to keep the fish from jumping out.

I always acclimate all my fish for 3 hours, since you're doing 2 different fish,I would put them in seperate containers,to reduce stress while acclamating.

During acclimation leave them alone and cover the bucket (if possible) to keep it dark, that will also reduce stress.

There's really no signs of the fish 'being ready'. I have noticed that after a good acclimation period, the fish are calm(er) and swimming around,or staring at you when you lift the lid as if to say "alright, what am I still doing in here already".

There's really no way to say a fish is ready. After the time has passed, net them and put them in.

It is good to acclimate anything that is alive going into the aquarium. I donot have any coral, but to be on the safe side,I would say yes. The CUC,yes.

With cuc there is no real stocking level you add to keep tank clean each one doing different job,,, algeas turbo snails ,, hair algae emerald crab,,, left over foods and all round tank cleaning hermit crabs,,, add small amounts untill this area is covered as if you add to many they will starve and start to eat eachother,, also supply larger shells for hermits as they will grow and eat things for larger shells ,,,,

i would start of with 4 hermits
and a mixture of 6-8 snails Nassarius ,Turbos,

And add from there until problem is controlled and enough supply for the inverts as not to starve ,,,

as cuc like humans consume in different ammounts so there is no real ammount to suggest
