I was wondering if platys have all their fry at once, or do they have some one day and some another?
Also, when they are finished delivering all the fry, will they still have a dark gravid spot?

Thanks for your time!

I'm going to say yes to the first question because anything is possible. I'd think it unlikely but you never can tell with fish.

The gravid spot should disappear because what it is is the internal organs and fry being pushed up against the outside wall of the body.

it just depends on the fish, some can take days and others can drop in an hour. you can kinda tell if shes still in labor based on how shes acting.

She is acting normal, swimming and eating and such. Its still just as dark as it was before I saw that fry.
Is it possible she miscarried them and they are just sort of sitting inside of her, as morbid as that sounds?
