Do Oto's Eat All Types Of Algae?

My Otos were chowing down when I had brown diatom but my tank has transitioned from diatom to Green Spot Algae and they're acting hungry and rarely seem to be eating the algae. I'm guessing I need to get algae wafers, but I was hoping they'd continue to be a clean up crew for all types of algae.

 

In my experience they don't touch green spot algae (the hard stuff) or hair algae. If your brown diatoms are gone, I would start supplementing with veggies or algae wafers.

 

They will only eat soft algae like dust algae and diatoms.

 

There is no fish that eats all algae, unfortunately
