Do Lfs Do Tank Orders

So I recently received a 30 gallon aquarium (36 1/4 x 12 5/8 x 16 3/4) from a neighbor as he moved. After filling it I discovered that it leaks near the bottom and quickly drained it to a few inches. it's stopped leaking now but the tank is unusable. It looked perfect next to my 20 gal high and I want to replace it but I can't find it on petco/petsmart websites but I found it on Aqueon's site. Do you know if a LFS will order a tank from the manufacturer for me? And at what cost?

 

You can certainly try.

 

Yes, most LFS will do this for you. They will usually have a full aqueon catalog that you can select from. I was able to do this with my LFS and they had the tank delivered directly to the store.

 

It depends on the lfs. Ask them and see.

 

My lfs gets tanks every Wednesday. Shouldn’t be a problem.
