Do I Need To Cover The Aquarium After Acclimating The Fish?

It too bright outside and I have acclimatized the fish during the day. I have switched off the lights. But do I need to cover up the aquarium since it's still daytime?

Depending on how long you'll let it be open, I say no.
Evaporation will happen over time.

I am not worried about evaporation. I want to know if it will reduce stress

Keeping the hood off the tank doesn't do anything for the fish, or change their behaviors.

I have covered the entire aquarium with blanket .. basically dark inside
Does the aquarium need to be in darkness for new fish to have less stress induced?

During the acclimation period, I just have the lights off. You don't necessary need to have a blanket covering the tank, ambient light is okay.
