10 Gallon Tank Do i need a breeder box?

I have an empty 10 gallon tank for breeding guppies. I am putting gravel, a sponge filter, and some sort of breeding plant. I have looked into them, but I have also seen this marineland 3 foot long bamboo plant. what if I used that instead of a breeder box or a separate fry tank? I don't want another tank, so would that work for the fry to hide in? thanks!

Anything bushy and can conceal fry will work

Bamboo probably wouldn’t be the best for fry to hide in. You really need some quick growing bushy plants (hornwort) as already stated. There are good floating plant options as well

the one thing is, I don't have a very good light for that tank. will java moss or hornwort live with a dI'm light? the light is from a 2.5 gallon tank.

Yup. Those don't need anything special, any ol' light will do

You could take a bunch of plastic plants, take the bottom weight off and just let it float.
