Do i have the right things

ok so I went online and bought some things for a planted tank and this is what I got

My light is a T5 HO Nova Extreme


My new substrate is Eco Complete


my tank is a 60 gallon that's 4 foot long and 25 inches tall in Dimensions

both my filters are aqua clear the both are for 70 gallon tanks so I have a 60 gallon tank with a filter made for 140 gallon tank

so tell me what you guys think and any ideas as what plants to get I'm keeping Gouramis Bettas and Cory Cats and one question if any one can help I put the sand that was all ready in the tank on top but I really don't like it well it be ok to vacuum as much as I can when I do my water changes or if taking it out disturb any thing in the tank

sorry about that I gave you the Dimensions of both the stand and aquarium combined I just took my tape measure and it measured out to me 4ft w - 2 ft 3/4 tall - and 12in and 3/4 D

 

the tank is 60 gallons
