Do I Have a Snail Problem?

I bought two Mystery Snails a few weeks ago. Now I'm getting little snails about the size of a grain of rice...a lot of them. I don't know if it can be identified from this picture, but I'm wondering if this is baby Mystery Snails, or something that hitchhiked on some plants I bought.

Did you notice eggs above the water line?

It is probably pest snails. (bladder, pond, ramshorn)

Looks to be a bladder snail which most likely hitchhiked on the plants.

Look like bladder or pond snails to me. From the plants.

Thanks for the prompt replies. I haven't seen any eggs, so it sounds like I do have a problem. Next question: How bad? Should I just pick them out when I find them, or something else?

I've heard a little about using Assassin snails. Do I need to get one? And if yes, will it eat my Mystery Snails too?

If you don't want them simply remove them before they can reproduce and trash them and those are pond/bladder snails. They are good at removing algae and from my experience breed slow.

Assasin snails will kill other snails.

You can control them by not feeding too much. You can also put a piece of lettuce, zucchinI or something in there and when a bunch are on there take them out.

Thank you. I try not to over feed, so if they aren't going to try to take over the aquarium I might leave them.
