Do ghost shrimp attack other fish when not fed enough?

Do ghost shrimp attack other fish when not fed enough, because 3 neon tetras died in 2 weeks HELP

 

I think It may be the otherway around I can't see a ghost shrimp attacking a fish. ghost shrimp are scavergers. I Think they would only eat fish already dead. I could be wrong though.

 

Ghost shrimp will not attack other fish. They will once in awhile eat baby fry IF they can catch them but this does not happen a lot. Like corydoraslover said they are scavengers, not predators. What are your what stats, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate? This may help in solving your dilemma. What other fish do you have in your tank and how big is it?

oh yes, I read the recent article commemorating the 10th anniversary of the tragedy. What a loss. Beautiful shrimp though.

yea, it was terrible, but nothing compared to the radioactive guppies from the sewers incident in Ooga Booga Springs, New Mexico.

Actually sometimes prawn are sold as ghost shrimp and then can and will eat smaller fish until you remove it. I read the topic online and later I think it was chichadee who posted it here too.

I think it would be the other way around...ghost shirp are tiny.. and I doubt they could harm a tetra...did you add salt to the water, usauly the pet store will direct you to do that.... and you could of added to much and shocked the fish
