Do frozen bloodworms smell?

I will get two pea puffers today and wanted to buy frozen bloodworms for them as well. Im not sure tho if the frozen bloodworms would release some sort of smell in the freezer? because my mom would NOT be happy about that. Thanks.

I double bag mine, never had a smell from them

They do have a funny smell when you put them in the tank - but when frozen they should not smell.

If they smell they are off. Otherwise only a faint metallic smell, but that only appears when defrosted.

So I don’t have to worry about them changing the taste of other stuff in the freezer?

That is generally not to fear in the freezer, so I'm a bit bewildered by the question in the first place. In the fridge, though, that's a different story.
