Do bladder snails mate

    I added some java moss to my tank and with it came some bladder snails. I have only seen three maybe four of them so far. I know they can be a pest snail but I am willing to see how it goes.

    I assumed they are a pest snail because they can reproduce on without a partner yet the last 2 nights I have seen 2 of the snails together and what I would consider mating. One will try to shake the other off, at first I was hoping I got an assassin baby but now I think not.

    Sorry if this was asked before I read many threads on bladder snails and I couldn't find anything.

    I heard that bladder snails form monogamous pairs and mate for life.

    Yes they do mate. Sometimes you will see a female swinging around trying to knock the male off. Funny to see. :)

    They dont mate no. They set up factories and MASS PRODUCE.
