Are you serious-- I want one-- Now!! A female-- I will call her Drucilla (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)!! LOL!!A rare species of vampire bettas even have fangs! yea, it's funny that you don't think about them having teeth, but they do.

When I was a brand new fishie owner, I decided to take a Q-tip and clean around the edge of the tank and my first betta, Azul, thought it was some new food thing and got his TEETH in the cotton of it and PULLED. He yanked it out of my hand he had such a death grip on it. Yes, they do indeed have teeth and if you ever get nipped, even in play, you will feel them. If they are after each other in anger, they can draw blood with those little choppers. Vampire Bettas ...... nah... not for me.
