DIY PVC Pipe Decor for Aquariums

HI everyone! Has anyone made any decorations for your aquariums out of PVC pipes, mainly caves? I want to make some, but I want them to look as natural as possible. I have white/tan pool filter sand in my tank with plants and driftwood. I kind of want them to fit into that kinda look. I have a 60 gallon tank that will be getting some cory cats soon, so I want them to have a place to explore! TIA

I coated the outside of PVC pipes in silicone and rolled them in some leftover sand I had from putting substrate in the tank. This way, the PVC blended in with the substrate to look more natural. You could also silicone or superglue stone pieces or rocks to the outside. Moss would work too!

I was thinking about adding moss too, but I didn't know how that would look. Should I coat the entire piece in moss, or do you think it will eventually grow out and cover majority of the PVC pipe? I've never had moss in my tanks before so I don't know how they grow.

I would try to get moss to cover the whole thing from the start. It won't grow around the PVC pipe like you might want.

I tried to cover my pvc with sand and I let it cure for 24 hours. All the sand just fell off the second I put it in water. I guess ill just stick with the moss, lol
